Intercession for Our President, Our Nation, Our World
Dr. Ken Shelton In the early morning hours of November 28 I experienced the following dream: I was helping President George W. Bush load a dead soldier (decorated) into the back of a hearse. I then climbed into the vehicle through the back, passing beside the dead soldier, and I sat down in front of him but slightly behind the two passengers in the front seat. President Bush had entered the hearse and was sitting in the passenger's side and former President Bill Clinton was driving. I was now between and just behind them on a small console of sorts.
To the best of my knowledge, I have recorded the dream as it experienced it. This is my fourth dream regarding our nation. I hope that it will assist in our efforts to pray and support those who lead our country. I Timothy 2:1-2

Along with many others, I believe that now it is urgent that the church
intercede for our President, our nation and the state of our world.
I saw signs of stress and deep concern on President Bush's face. I knew that President Bush was to appear before the United Nations and give some sort of defense or response. I also knew that there was a pending investigation, indictment or possible impeachment that he was facing in Washington.
Former President Clinton told President Bush to use a certain protocol or cite a particular provision of the law as a response and and to protect himself. There was another advisor and at least one other security person present. The other advisor was attempting to encourage the President that he had done nothing wrong, but President Bush was not consoled.
Former President Clinton was clearly in the role of an empathizer with the President.
I heard President Bush repeat the advice he had been given. I looked down and knew that I needed to fasten my seatbelt. The seat I was sitting on was very uncomfortable but I had to stay there. I adjusted my seatbelt as the car turned left and then I awoke.
"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-for kings and all those in
authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."
